This regulation sets forth the participation conditions applicable to the CKS Designed By You competition, located at Vilvoorde, Luchthavenlaan 1/00/1.
To participate in the competition, you must submit your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, and a link to your social media account or portfolio between Monday, October 14, 2024, and November 17, 2024. Additionally, you need to upload 2 artworks that meet the following specifications:
The designs must align with the Pantone colors displayed on the competition webpage. Furthermore, an explanation of the design and rationale must be included.
One winner will be selected by a professional jury consisting of Els Keymeulen (editor-in-chief of Feeling), Kristin Stoffels (Fashion editor of Feeling), Liesbeth Van Agtmael (Collection manager CKS), and Dana Molenberghs (Marketing manager CKS). The strongest design that best matches the CKS festival collection will be notified personally on November 18, 2024.
The competition runs from 14/10/2024 until 11/11/2024 at midnight. The winning design will be part of the S.S.25 festival collection of CKS. The winner will receive exposure in Feeling & CKS, a CKS gift voucher of €500, and duo tickets for the Paradise City festival.
By merely participating, contestants acknowledge that they have accepted both the general competition regulations and the specific competition rules. Results and decisions made by CKS cannot be contested for any reason. There will be no correspondence regarding the outcome of the competition.
This competition is open to any natural person, with the exception of:
CKS may at any time exclude a person from participation in the competition organized by CKS for a certain period in the event of a breach of one of the participation conditions or in case of abuse, deception, or bad faith participation in a competition.
Participation must always be on a personal basis and cannot be based on multiple persons or groups.
Only fully completed participation forms received by CKS before the end of the competition on 11/11/2024 at midnight will be considered.
CKS makes no guarantees regarding the prize. CKS cannot be held liable for any accidents or damages that are (indirectly) related to the won prize. A prize can only be awarded to the winner and is therefore non-transferable.
The prize is indivisible and must be accepted as awarded. The prize cannot be declined or exchanged for a cash amount. If a prize is sent, CKS cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of the prize due to postal services or delays in receipt. If the prizes are sent registered, CKS cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or delay if the prize is not collected by the winner.
CKS cannot be held liable if, due to force majeure or any other reason beyond the control of CKS, the duration of the competition is changed or if the competition is modified or simply canceled. Similarly, CKS cannot be held responsible for a technical issue or a problem with postal services (delay, strike, damage, or loss) that prevents participation.
CKS may modify the participation conditions at any time. The previous participation conditions will continue to apply to the competitions that are currently running.
The participant is obliged to provide their email address. As a participant, you agree that CKS or an affiliated company of CKS, as data controllers, will use and process your personal data provided with your application for the following purposes: registering, confirming, and processing your application for the competition. As a participant, you also agree that the data requested by CKS in the context of your application will be retained and stored. Your personal data will not be used for commercial purposes. CKS is responsible for processing your personal data. You have the right to correct your data if it is incomplete or incorrect, by simply sending a written request to customercare@cks-fashion.com.
CKS does not send spam. If you receive an email or newsletter from CKS, it is relevant to your inquiry or request. If you still receive unwanted emails from CKS, you can report this to us, and we will take necessary action as soon as possible to ensure that you no longer receive emails. CKS cannot be held responsible if emails sent by CKS are considered spam or junk mail. CKS always considers such emails to be correctly sent to the participant. In some cases, participants can add the email addresses from CKS to their address book to avoid this issue.
