Circular Economy

As part of the sustainability policy of FNG, the parent company of CKS, we are constantly looking for alternatives to linear consumption. We pay attention to reuse and recycling and strive for a circular economy. This means that we choose to continue to use materials and products as high as possible. At CKS, old stock is never thrown away, it is repaired or recycled into new products through partners.

CKS SUPPORTS STRAATVERPLEGERS

CKS puts circular fashion into practice with an initiative to use clothes longer. Old stock, items or clothing with production errors and returned items with a defect sold to Eurofrip, one of the market leaders in sorting and selling second-hand clothing. Clothing that is still portable is sorted and sold on the second-hand market. The remaining items are recycled into cleaning cloths, insulation material ... This is how our clothes get a new purpose. This action has a dual objective: on the one hand, this is part of our sustainable policy and we want our waste reduce. On the other hand, we donate the proceeds of our collaboration with Eurofrip to a charity. We chose Straatverplegers, a medical-social organisation that focuses on remedying homelessness in Brussels.
